Brave Boy and the Magical Black Rock
Once upon a time, near a dense forest, lived a courageous boy named Brave Boy with his loving parents. Brave Boy was adventurous, always exploring the woods, climbing trees, and scaling rocky hills fearlessly. His father, a skilled hunter, had a secret for his success: a shiny black rock that brought him luck in hunting. With the rock in his pocket, he always managed to bring home food for his family.
But one fateful day, Brave Boy’s father lost the precious black rock. Without it, his hunts turned fruitless, and soon the family’s food supply began to dwindle. Hunger crept into their humble home, and desperation grew. One day, Brave Boy’s mother looked at him with hope and asked, “Can you find a black rock for your father?”
Without hesitation, Brave Boy set out on his mission. He first searched every corner of their house but found nothing. Next, he visited his friend Running Stream, who was known for her love of collecting rocks. She had rocks of all colors—red, blue, and green—but no black rock.
Running Stream shared a crucial piece of information. Black rocks were rare and highly prized by a grumpy old man who lived atop the perilous Black Cliff. He believed these rocks brought immense luck, so he traded them for animals. Determined to help his family, Brave Boy made up his mind to climb the dangerous cliff and confront the old man.
As Brave Boy climbed the steep cliff, the wind howled, and loose rocks tumbled beneath his feet. Finally, he reached the old man’s home. Luck seemed to be on his side as the old man was nowhere to be seen. At the bottom of a pile, Brave Boy spotted a glimmering black rock. He quickly pocketed it, but just as he turned to leave, the old man appeared.
“What are you doing with my rocks?” the old man bellowed.
Brave Boy, thinking fast, stepped aside and pretended to be examining the view. The old man, suspicious, began counting his precious rocks. Seizing the moment, Brave Boy darted down the cliff with the black rock safely in his pocket.
Triumphant, Brave Boy returned home and handed the black rock to his father. The luck of the rock worked its magic once more. His father began hunting successfully again, bringing back plenty of food for the family. Brave Boy’s parents were overjoyed, their hearts swelling with pride for their brave and resourceful son.
From that day forward, the family never went hungry again, and Brave Boy became a symbol of love, courage, and determination in their little village.
🌟 Moral of the Story
